Awards

We will not be offering verification of these awards during 2019/20. However, we would still encourage schools to use the toolkits available here to help you to self audit and plan improvements in your PSHEe provision and whole school approaches to pupil wellbeing.

This section contains two toolkits which schools can use to audit and improve their practice across PSHE education themes.  Both awards were created and developed in consultation with professionals across the city including schools, partners and the Wolverhampton School Improvement Partnership (WSIP).

The ‘PSHE Education Award Review and Improvement Toolkit’ aims to give schools a comprehensive overview of their practice across nine key elements relating to PSHE.  It is a holistic, whole-school ‘audit’ toolkit and is closely aligned to appropriate Ofsted criteria so that schools can self-review against these and then use the results to improve upon any areas highlighted as development points.

Similarly, the ‘Health & Wellbeing Awards’ allow schools to focus their attention on four key themes within PSHE education and to take a ‘deeper’ approach into specific themes which they may wish to develop and/or celebrate success.
